Johnny M Floyd was born March 29, 1942 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Warren and Robbie McNatt Floyd. He departed this life on March 27, 2020 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 11 Months, 27 Days.
Mr. Floyd owned and operated Johnny's Texaco. He managed Selmer Townhouse Apartments for many years. Then before retiring, he owned and operated Floyd Trucking. He was a past president of Selmer Jaycee's, a member of Selmer Moose Lodge and a Mason. Johnny loved watching sports and also tinkering with tractors and riding lawn mowers.
He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Floyd and fiance Dan Lungren of Selmer, TN; a son, Darryl Floyd and wife Leanne of Selmer, TN; four sisters: Sue Ray of Selmer, TN, Jane Wallis of Selmer, TN, Judy Whitten of Oakland, TN, Barbara Young of Collierville, TN; three grandchildren: Brooke Moore and husband Sean of Selmer, TN, Alece Floyd of Corinth, MS, Alek Floyd and wife Amber of Selmer, TN; four great grandchildren: Gavin Fowler, Rylee Fowler, Skyler Cox, Alyvia Floyd; step great grandchild, Alliyah Moore; great great grandchild, Bexleigh Harbin; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by four brothers: Billy Stanley Floyd, James E. Floyd, Robert Floyd, Terry Ray "Pete" Floyd.
