JOHNNY HAYES

 Henderson, TN: Johnny Ray Hayes age 66, passed away June 15, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born February 13, 1958, in Henderson, TN the son of the late Rufus Harrison and Martha Druscilla Maness Hayes. He grew up in Henderson and was a graduate of Chester County High School.

He worked as a janitor at Chester County High School for nearly twenty years and later worked at Henderson Plaza and Miller’s Big Star.

He loved animals, watching wrestling and nearly always had a diet coke in his hand. He was a Baptist in belief.

Johnny is survived by a sister, Linda Kay Barham and husband Tim of Henderson and seventeen nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 19th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Glenn Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Clarks Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday.
