Johnny E. (Tuffy) Smith

Johnny Eugene (Tuffy) Smith was born April 2, 1933 in Adamsville, TN the son of the late Horace and Wilma Surratt Smith.

He was united in marriage to Reaber Brown on June 5, 1954. Mr. Smith was a heavy equipment operator for B and B Construction when he retired and also had worked for Worsham Brothers. He was a member of the Mars Hill Church of Christ in Adamsville TN.

Some of his favorite pastimes were tending to his horses, cows, working around on his farm, watching CNN Headline News and spending time with his family.

Mr. Smith departed this life on April 10, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 8 Days. He is survived by his wife Reaber (Brown) Smith of Adamsville, TN; two sons, Tony Smith and wife Connie of Adamsville, TN, Tim Smith of Adamsville, TN; two sisters, Bobbie Felts and husband JW, Sandra Wallace; three grandchildren, Angela Reed and husband Travis, Tim Smith and wife Angie, Shane Williams; seven great grandchildren, Amber Smith, Ashley Reed, Parker Smith, Katelyn Reed, Katie Smith, Josh Williams, Logan Williams; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Doris Smith; and a grandchild, Reggie Williams.
