Born on May 23, 1971, in Shelby County, Tennessee, Jon was the son of Janie Murray Hutcherson and the late Bobby Gerald Hutcherson, Sr.

A skilled heating and air conditioning technician, Jon was known for his remarkable ability to repair, build, and improve just about anything. Family and friends affectionately called him "MacGyver" because of his creativity, ingenuity, and knack for finding solutions where others saw obstacles. He took great pride in his work and genuinely enjoyed helping others through his talents and craftsmanship.

Jon was a member of Forty Forks Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. Above all else, he was a devoted father whose greatest joy in life was his two daughters, Makaila and Taryn. They were truly the center of his world. Whether taking them along on work calls as his “little helpers,” spending one-on-one time with each daughter, or raising cocker spaniel puppies together, Jon cherished every moment he shared with them. His love, guidance, and dedication to his girls were evident in all that he did.

Though his life was far too short, Jon leaves behind a legacy of hard work, resourcefulness, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, quick wit, strong work ethic, and the countless ways he touched the lives of those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Makaila Hutcherson and Taryn Hutcherson, both of Adamsville, Tennessee; his mother, Janie Hutcherson of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; his brother, Bobby Hutcherson, Jr. and wife, Tammy, of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; the mother of his children and former wife, Stephanie Henry of Adamsville, Tennessee; his nephew, Cain Hutcherson of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

In addition to his father, Bobby Gerald Hutcherson, Sr., he was preceded in death by those who welcomed him into eternal rest.

Jon's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends, especially in the lives of the two daughters he loved beyond measure.
