Jon Sherman Moss

Jon Sherman Moss, 70, of Grand Junction, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Methodist University in Memphis.
The husband of Carolyn Graves Moss, who survives, he retired from Thyssen-Krupp Elevator as an electrical engineer. Mr. Moss was born August 31, 1940 in Wolf Creek to the late Luke Lee Moss and Nina Jones Moss. He served his country in the US Marines from June 30, 1960 until June 30, 1964 and was a member of Grand Junction church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, whom he married November 29, 1997, he is survived by three sons, Jon Timothy Moss of Kingston Springs, Kenneth Lee Moss of Pilot Point, TX and Neal Shannon Moss of Collierville; a stepson, Gregory Bishop of Cordova; a sister, Patsy Moss Jarrad of Georgetown, TX; and eleven grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sonya Duke.
