Joseph M. (Joe) Moore

Joseph M. (Joe) Moore was born January 24, 1936 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Homer Thomas Moore and Zola Smith Moore.

He was united in marriage to Nelleta King on June 20, 1956.

Mr. Moore retired from service in the United States Navy. After retiring, he operated Joe's Auto Repair. Mr. Moore was a member of the church of Christ and the American Legion. He was a man of his word upon which you could depend, and was very particular about doing things the right way.

Mr. Moore departed this life on June 14, 2015 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 79 Years, 4 Months, 21 Days. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nelleta (King) Moore of Selmer, TN; two daughters, Denise Moore of Bethel Springs, TN and Debbie Dye of Selmer, TN; two sons, David Moore of St. Cloud, FL and Dan Moore and wife Lisa of Birmingham, AL; eight grandchildren: Michael Dye and wife Alissa, Holly Marie Dye, Dustin King, Everett Moore, Ryan Moore, Matthew Moore, Michael Moore, and Jonathan Moore; a great-grandchild, Aurora Dye; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys King and Eulia Tackett; and two brothers, Herbert Moore and Paul Moore.
