Joseph James Tonegatto departed this life on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the age of 79 years, 8 months, and 12 days. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 21, 1937 the son of the late Joseph and Mary Cravero Tonegatto.
Joseph loved computers, working on cars, racing, and fishing. He had worked as a truck driver and was of Catholic belief.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary Ellen Tonegatto-Brown and husband, Timothy of North Carolina, Christine Ann Tonegatto-Salo and husband, Cory of Michigan, and April Mitchell and husband, Jeffrey of Alabama; 7 grandchildren; and his partner, Phyllis Prichard of Crump, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Tonegatto; sons, Joseph Tonegatto and Kevin Tonegatto; stepdaughter, Treva Grubbs; and brother, Anthony Tonegatto.
No services will be held at this time.
