Josie White was born February 13, 1922 in Popular Bluff, MO the daughter of the late Lloyd Jasper and Mintie Reynolds Ray.
She was united in marriage to Lavern Allen "LA" White on July 18, 1936. Mr. White preceded her in death on December 30, 1977.
Mrs. White was a homemaker. She was the oldest living member of the Solitude Free Will Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee and had been a member for over forty years. Her passions were her family and her beautiful flower gardens.
Mrs. White departed this life on March 11, 2013 in Enville, Tennessee at the age of 91 Years, 26 Days. She is survived by five daughters, Alice Mae Starnes and husband Al of Enville, TN, Zendia Lee White and husband James of Enville, TN, Carmellitta Capooth and husband Jerry of Enville, TN, Linda Earnest and husband Ray of Middleton, TN, Terra Michael of Ramer, TN; a son, Tony White and wife Judy of Olive Branch, MS; daughter-in-law, Brenda White of Enville, TN; 15 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren; host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. White was preceded in death by three sons, Junior William White, William Wally White, Dennis Rowland (Ray) White; son-in-law, Robert Michael; two grandsons, Butch Starnes and Eric Landreth; a great granddaughter, Kelly Ray Starne; seven siblings.
