Joy Lynn Turbett White of Memphis, TN was born June 16, 1969 and departed this life on Tuesday,June 19, 2012 at her home at the age of 43 Years, 3 Days. Joy was of the Protestant faith and at the age of 8, she was the Easter Seals poster child for Tennessee.

She is survived by her parents, Larry and Elizabeth Balentine Turbett of Lakeland, TN; brothers, Keith Turbett and wife, Beverly of Arlington, TN, Brady Turbett and wife, Karen of Columbia, TN; nieces, Jennifer Turbett and fiance', Brock Stewart and Ashley Bush; nephew, Paul Bush and wife, Christina; great-nephew, Jayden Bush.

Services will be Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10 am at Calvary Church of the Nazarene in Cordova, TN. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 at Memorial Gardens in Collinwood, Tennessee with Tim Hanback officiating and Shackeford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, assisting the family. Pallbearers will be Paul Bush, Brock Stewart, Andrew Tinker, Jason Balentine, Ancil Balentine, and Roger C. Balentine.
