Joyce Brown

Mrs. Joyce Brown, age 73, of Williston, departed this life Wednesday morning, April 13, 2016 at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital.

The wife of Garry Brown, who survives, she was a homemaker. She was born August 29,1942 in Hardeman County, to Pauline Pittman. She married Garry on November 16, 1975 and lived in Hornsby prior to moving to Williston about 25 years ago. She enjoyed cooking for her friends and family. Prior to her getting sick, she enjoyed riding four wheelers and hunting. Mrs. Brown was a Baptist in faith.

Survivors include her husband, Garry Brown of Williston; two daughters, Betty Pearson and Sandy Pool, both of Brownsville; a son, Tommy Bolden of Toone; a brother, Robert Logan of Somerville; five grandchildren, Chris and Philip Pearson, Christy Story, Stephanie Ivy and Ricky Marbry; and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, a daughter, Dana Pauline Brown on May 6, 1996, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. The family requests memorial donations in Mrs. Brown's name be made to Williston Baptist Church.
