Joyce Alice Arnold Cosbey

Mrs. Joyce Alice Arnold Cosbey was born September 27, 1946 in Tucson, AZ the daughter of Nelle Canemore and the late John Arnold. Mrs. Cosbey departed this life on April 22, 2016 at her home in Finger, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 6 Months, 26 Days.

She traveled much as a young lady before she met and was united in marriage to Robert Cosbey of Blytheville, Arkansas on February 2, 1962. Mr. Cosbey preceded her in death on February 1, 2016. They made their home in Jackson, Tennessee for a number of years before moving to Chester County in 1972. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years. She also worked as a seamstress in the garment industry. She loved gardening, growing roses and listening to Elvis Presley.

She is survived by her mother Nelle (Canemore) Arnold of Manila, AR; three daughters, Vickie Jane Cosbey and companion Russ Eddings of Finger, TN, Linda Gail Parmely of Henderson, TN, Charlotte Moore and husband Mario of Jackson, TN; two sons, Rickey Cosbey and wife Carole of Finger, TN, Richard Wayne Moore and wife Brandi of Finger, TN; four sisters, Elizabeth Thomas of Wauchula, FL, Mary Arnold of Texas , Lufonda Murphy of Hartford, MI, Gail Arnold of Blytheville, AR; two brothers, John Arnold of Bethel Springs, TN, Willis Arnold of Manila, AR; 13 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild.

In addition to her husband and father, Mrs.Cosbey was preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie Arnold, Wilma Franklin; a brother, Neal Arnold.

Services will be held on April 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Ken Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow in the Chester County Memory Gardens at Henderson, Tennessee.
