Joyce Dickey

Joyce Dickey was born July 17, 1947 in Bethel Springs, TN, the daughter of the late Amos Calvin Plunk and Lena Mae Hester Plunk. She departed this life on January 10, 2026 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 5 Months, 24 Days.

Joyce worked 30 plus years for General Electric before retiring. She found joy in the beauty of flowers, cooking meals for her family and friends, and nurturing her garden. She had a passion for shopping that brought her excitement and delight. However, what truly filled her heart with joy was the love she shared with her family, who were her greatest treasure in life.

As we remember Joyce, let us celebrate the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the wonderful memories we hold dear. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Dickey of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Chris Dickey of Bethel Springs, TN; two sisters, Pat Davis and husband Jack of Selmer, TN, Jeanette Webster and husband Jimmy of Bethel Springs, TN; a brother, Tim Plunk and wife Paula of Bethel Springs, TN; brother-in-law, John "Jack" Wood; her dog "Baylee"; and a host of nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Gentiva Hospice staff and Stacy Wood for all care they gave Joyce.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Elizabeth Wood.
