Henderson, TN: Joyce Louise Kirby, age 77, passed away June 15, 2011 at her home. She was born in Crockett County and graduated Crockett County High School and attended Lambuth University. She was married to Richard R. Kirby August 23, 1953. They made their home in Brownsville a short time and moved to Henderson in 1955. She had worked as a Welcome Wagon Hostess for the town of Henderson and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, Henderson until her health began to fail her.She was preceded in death by her parents, Rayburn and Gladys Worrell, her brother, Ray N. Worrell all of Alamo, TN, brother Jerry L. Worrell and sister, Nancy Gallina both of Memphis, TN. She is survived by her husband, Richard R. Kirby; daughters, Kim (Mark) Stewart of Collierville and Kathy (Jerry) Emerson of Henderson; grandchildren, John (Leslie) Stewart of Batesville, MS, Drew Stewart of Collierville, Becky (Clint) Hutcherson and Brad (Jesica) Emerson both of Henderson; Brandon Emerson of Nashville; great grandsons, Shannon Stewart of Batesville, MS, Evan and Eli Hutcherson, Caleb and Noah Emerson all of Henderson; sister-in-law, Alpha Worrell of Alamo and brother-in-law, Billy (Martha) Kirby of Brownsville and three nieces and five nephews.
