Joyce K. Roland

Joyce K. Roland of Selmer, TN was born May 21, 1941 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Virgil and Beulah Rowland Robinson. She departed this life on February 20, 2019 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 8 Months, 30 Days.

She was united in marriage to Charles L. Roland on August 14, 1958. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee. For the last decade Joyce wasn't able to attend church, but continued to worship at home. She enjoyed reading, writing something every day, crocheting, quilting, and loved her family.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles L. Roland; a son, Danny Roland and wife Sharon of Selmer, TN; a sister, Mildred Robinson Hall and husband Levi; a brother, Dean Robinson; brother-in-law, Henry Kiddy; six grandchildren: Rachael Crump and husband Joe, Jennifer Dedrick, Amanda Roland and fiance Mike Justice, Heather Atlee and husband Richard, Jared Shelby, Madeline Johnson and husband Will; seven great grandchildren: Emma Crump, Ames Crump, Kinley Dedrick, Thomas Dedrick, LilyAnne Johnson, Alex Atlee, Amelia Atlee; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Roland was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Joyce Roland; two sisters, Alice Robinson King and husband CharlesKing, Dottie Robinson Kiddy; two brothers, Hollis "Junior" Lambert and wife Sarah Kirk Lambert, Doyal Lambert.
