JUANITA BRIGGS SCOTT
was born in Corinth, Mississippi on January 20, 1938 the daughter of the late G. C. and Christine Briggs.
On July 4, 1989 she was united in marriage to Lenard Charles Scott, who survives.
Juanita lived in Corinth, Mississippi her early life, then in 1968 moved to Savannah, Tennessee. She was the owner and operator of Briggs Tobacco. Juanita was a member of Savannah Church of Christ. In her spare time she enjoyed doing yard work and working with flowers. Juanita loved to drink coffee at the old Cherry's Truck Stop.
She departed this life on August 3, 2017 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 6 months and 14 days.
In addition to her husband, Lenard of 28 years, she is survived by her children, John Michael Hardin, Maurie Neil Hardin, Marlin Dewayne "Bubba" Hardin and Romona Gail Casteel, all of Savannah, Tennessee.

six step grandchildren, Joshua Todd and Emily Todd, of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Allen Scott and Claudia Scott, of Knoxville, Tennessee, Bryson Scott of Savannah, Tennessee and Katie Coleman of Savannah, Tennessee
