Judith Ann Cornelius, age 78, of Hohenwald, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was born on August 12, 1947, in Waynesboro, TN, she was the beloved daughter of the late Harvey Ishmael and Hazel Dean Aldridge Cornelius.
Judith's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with her passions and talents. She spent years sharing her love for dance at the Arthur Murray Dance School and brought joy to many as a backup singer for celebrated artists George Jones and Conway Twitty. A dedicated educator, Judith transitioned into teaching computer applications and eventually found her calling as a college-level English teacher, inspiring countless students with her wisdom and warmth.
Judith will be remembered not only for her many accomplishments but for her kind heart, infectious spirit, and zest for life. She leaves behind a legacy of creativity and dedication that will live on in the memories of all who knew and loved her.
Judith is survived by her nephew, James Lee Brown of Millville, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Ishmael and Hazel Dean Aldridge Cornelius.
