JULIA MILLER

 Enville, TN: Julia Louise Crowe Miller, age 88, passed away December 13, 2024, at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born and reared in Chester County, Sweetlips Community, the daughter of the late J. B. Crowe and Lou Winnie Busby Crowe . She attended Chester County Schools and married Junior Miller in 1954. They made their home at Enville, the Sweetlips Community. She worked at Salant & Salant, Chester County Sportswear and Enville Manufacturing, until she retired.

She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church.

She enjoyed cooking for her family and will always be remembered for her chicken & dumplings and dressing. She loved the Smoky Mountains, traveling and visiting with friends. 

Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband of seventy years, Junior Homer Miller of Enville; two sons, Steve Miller of Bethel Springs and Stan Miller of Henderson; three daughters, Sharon Plunk (Steve) of Bethel Springs, Barbara Hall (Rickey) of Henderson and Laurie Young (Lewis) of Henderson.

Ten grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Waford Crowe, Larry Horn and Bobby Horn. 

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 17th at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Rick Babin officiating.
