June Carolyn Rinehart Hendrix

June Carolyn Rinehart Hendrix, age 72, passed into the hands of God on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at 9:00 PM CST. She is survived by her husband, Robert Hendrix; her three children and their spouses, Tim and Renee Hendrix, Jim and Emma Hendrix, Tina and Chris Hayden; her brothers and spouses, Don and Janet Rhinehart, and Randy and Kathy Rhinehart; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. June is predeceased in death by her parents, Ralph and Ava Rhinehart; and her sister, Shelba Ledbetter.

June was born in Rienzi, MS on December 30, 1943 and grew up in Selmer, TN. She travelled the US and abroad as a proud Air Force wife, eventually settling in Gurley, Alabama. Her passion and love for life was expressed through her many hobbies including gardening, stamp collecting, quilting and sewing, and raising and breeding exotic tropical birds.

June was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
