Karen Elise Davis Mathis Keeton

Karen Elise Davis Mathis Keeton was born November 18, 1961 in Wayne County, TN, the daughter of James Malcolm and the late Reba Lynn Davis and granddaughter of the late Taylor and Carrie Davis and Vernon and Opal Davis. Karen worked at various jobs throughout her life and was of the Christian faith. She died at her home on Beech Creek on Friday, June 16, 2016 at the age of 54 Years, 6 Months, 29 Days.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Keeton of Waynesboro, TN, daughter, Reanna Lynn Davis Ainsley and husband, Crawford of Minor Hill, TN; stepdaughters, Kathy Blackstock, Linda South, Sharon Carnes, Lauren May all of Florence, Al, Rebecca Keeton and Gabriella Keeton both of Atlanta, GA; 7 grandchildren and 9 step grandchildren; brothers, James Davis of Las Vegas, NV, Roger Dixon and wife, Debbie and Ricky Dixon and wife, Rhonda all of Soddy Daisy, TN, Mark Dixon and wife, Lisa of Hixon, TN; a sister, Kimberly Darlene Smith of Waynesboro, TN; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a very special Uncle Joe and aunts Linda and Ruth. In addition to her mother, Karen was preceded in death by a son, Derrick David Mathis, a daughter, Amber Davis Mathis Nance and a sister, Tina Lynne Smith.

Services will be Sunday June 19, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Old Union Church in the Beech Creek Community with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Worley Cemetery on Beech Creek with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing. Visitation will begin on Saturday, at 5:30 pm at the church. Pallbearers are Zeke Davis, Ashton Smith, Scott Davis, Tim Blackstock, Jason Dodd and Brandon Davis.
