Karen Ann Hughes

Karen Ann Holder Hughes was born July 8, 1956 in Hohenwald, Tennessee the daughter of Ester Dabbs and the late Joe Tom Holder. She departed this life Saturday,May 28, 2011at the home of her daughter in Ethridge, Tennessee at the age of 54 Years, 10 Months, 20 Days. For several years she was employed at Angelica in Waynesboro. She is survived by daughter, Tonya Hannah and husband Mike of Ethridge, TN; a son, Chuck Hughes of Waynesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Tyler Belsha, Cassidy Hannah, Tanner Hughes, and Casen Hughes; mother, Ester Dabbs Story of Waynesboro, TN; brother, Larry Holder of Waynesboro, TN; three sisters, Pam Hughes of Lawrenceburg, TN, Patsy Russ of Pulaski, TN, Brenda Pulley of Waynesboro, TN; half-sisters, Cody Metz of Warner Robbins, GA and Glenda Jo McNutt ofYates Center, KS. Services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Bobby Pinckley and Laverne Griggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Dabbs Cemetery in Lewis County with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
