Kasey Ted Kessler

Kasey Ted Kessler, 23, of Bolivar, passed away Saturday afternoon, February 19, 2011 at Lauderdale Community Hospital in Ripley.



He was born December 29, 1987 in Jackson to Ted Harold Kessler and Lee Lynn Campbell and lived all of his life in the Bolivar area. Mr. Kessler was a graduate of Bolivar Central High School class of 2006, was prom king and played golf, baseball and two years of football. He was a senior at University of Tennessee at Martin, majoring in education and was student teaching. He was a member of the ATO fraternity and involved in many intramural sports. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and camping.



He is survived by his mother and step-father, Lee Lynn Campbell and Keith of Bolivar; his father and step-mother, Ted Kessler and Susie of Bolivar; two sisters, Kayla Kessler and Katie Kessler, both of Bolivar; a brother, Colby Campbell of Bolivar; his maternal grandmother and her husband, Randy Freeland Shephard and Dave of Germantown; his maternal grandfather and his wife, Ray Whitlow and Janet of Paris, TN; his paternal grandmother, Barbara Kessler of Bolivar; his maternal great grandfather, Rev. William R. Whitlow of Paris, TN; a nephew, Jayden Kessler of Bolivar; and his girlfriend of many years, Caroline Maxwell of Bolivar. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Fred F. Kessler, Sr; and maternal great grandparents, Robert D. "Jack" Freeland and Helen Freeland.
