Monday April 28th, 2025, the sun burned less bright with the passing of Kasey Lynn Rothchild at the age of 43 Years, 7 Months, 2 Days, our forever sunshine.
How do words ever describe the light that is radiated from the Sun? That was Kase; she was pure sunshine. Every baby, child, parent, friend & grandparent loved Kasey. She was the sunshine for everyone. The feeling you get when you walk outside, close your eyes, and look up at the sun - that was Kasey. She intently listened to every word someone spoke and responded not just with words but with her whole heart and soul. Her empathy for others knew no bounds.
Kasey was born on September 26, 1981, in Jackson, Tennessee. Raised in the close-knit Bethel Springs Community of McNairy County, she cultivated a sense of belonging and connection that would define her life. A proud graduate of McNairy Central High School, Kasey forged enduring friendships that enriched her journey and illuminated the hearts of those around her.
She truly embodied the essence of her mother—radiating life, love, and an infectious happiness that touched everyone she met. Her sense of humor and warmth were like rays of sunshine, lighting up every room she entered and creating a joyful atmosphere that lifted the spirits of those around her. She also had a passion for baking, and she took great pride in finally mastering her mother’s famous pecan pie, it was a sweet reminder of family traditions and the love she held for those dear to her.
She was the sunshine for everyone but for Baron and Miles, she was the whole world and beyond. Kasey accomplished immeasurable successes in her life, but her biggest success and fulfillment came from Baron and Miles. She loved nothing more than being a devoted wife and a nurturing mother. Her legacy will live on in Baron, Miles, and her entire family & friends. Her heartfelt unending love was always in the TIME - the selfless-love-leading time she gave to everyone. Her legacy will forever be the time; the time she selflessly devoted to everyone!
On Sunday, we will honor Kasey with our time and celebrate the sunshine she brought to us all. Please join Baron, Miles, and extended family on Sunday as we celebrate the sunshine and warmth that was Kasey. While the brightness in our life will never be the same moving forward, Kasey’s legacy will forever last in each of us.
In honoring Kasey, who loved every person for who they were, we request that you show up as you are - jeans, soccer jerseys, sweatpants, suits - it does not matter because Kasey only cared about the person not what they wore or had. In knowing that Kasey was the warm Sunshine we all needed, Baron and Miles have requested no black attire. Her brightness should be celebrated in color. The colorful memories that will remain in our hearts forever.
Kasey is survived by her loving husband, Baron Rothchild of Knoxville, TN; her son, Miles Rothchild; her fur babies, Messi and Lynk; sisters, Michelle Doles (Mike Webster) and Kelly Moore all of Bethel Springs, TN; father, Larry Davis of Bethel Springs, TN; stepfather, Doyle Moore of Bethel Springs, TN; brothers, Chad Moore (Michelle) of Decaturville, TN, Matthew Moore of Bethel Springs, TN, and Brian Hendrix (Tracy) of Knoxville, TN; nephews, Hunter Doles, Jep and Little Baron; nieces, Agapi and Anna Lynn; her extended family - The Rothchild’s, Bozdogan’s, Chysas, Well’s, Gee's and Davis'; cherished grandmother-in-law, MeMaw Florence Huntington; and a host of friends.
