Katharion (Kay) DeShazier Arnold

Katharion (Kay) DeShazier Arnold departed this life on Thursday, February 16, 2017, at the age of 78 years, 3 months, and 17 days. She was born in Lauderdale County, Alabama on October 30, 1938, the daughter of the late Lewis and Nettie Pearl Kelley DeShazier.
Katharion (Kay) had worked as a cook in a cafe and a housekeeper in the hospital.
She is survived by a daughter, Norma Jean Wood of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Johnny Lee DeShazier and wife, Lucy of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amanda Willis, Cathy Bradford, Billy Joe Beavers, and April DeShazier; fourteen great-grandchildren; half sister, Rita Fay McIntyre of Missouri; and companion, Coy Massia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill DeShazier; her second husband, Joe Arnold; two sons, Billy and Larry Cleveland DeShazier; sisters, Cora Lee Sauerwin and Nettie Bell White; and a brother, Wesley DeShazier.
