Katherine Dianne Hobbs Pitts

On March 22, 2024, the world lost a beloved soul as Katherine Dianne Hobbs Pitts passed away in Murfreesboro, TN. Known affectionately as Dianne to many, and Sissy to her siblings. She was born on October 25, 1953, daughter of the late Tom Frank and Hazel Mae Brawley Hobbs.
 
Dianne was united in marriage to Cecil Alton Pitts in 1984 until his passing on April 19, 2015. Over the years, she dedicated herself to different roles - from her early days at Genesco Manufacturing Company to later serving as a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in nursing homes and offering care through Home Health services until her retirement.
 
She leaves behind her children, Kristy Michelle Rich and Amy Green, her grandchildren, Chelsea Rich, Cassie Vickery (Coty), Dakota Pitts, and Kelsy Pitts, a sister, Frankie Pulley, along with nieces, nephews, and several step-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Juantia Hobbs, Jennifer Griggs, and Tommy Hobbs.
 
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 11:30am until 1:30pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN.
 
Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 2:00pm the Prater's Chapel Cemetery in Clifton, TN. Burial to follow in Prater's Chapel Cemetery in Clifton, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
