Katherine Lakatos

Katherine (Sis) LaKatoswas born in Camden, Tennessee on July 17, 1931 the daughter of the late Doffie Hufford Davis and Beatrice Arnold Bray.She was united in marriage on October 10, 1953 to Joseph LaKatos, Jr. who preceded her in death on September 24, 2011.Mrs. LaKatos worked for Whitington Trucking Company in Memphis, Tennessee. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, going to horse shows and flower gardening. Mrs. LaKatos was a member of the Nixon First Pentecostal Church here in Savannah. Mrs. LaKatos departed this live on June 21, 2012 at the age of 80 years 11 months 4 days.She is survived by 1 son, Joseph (Rocky) LaKatos of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; Cynthia (Cindy) Harper of Walls, Mississippi; Laura Jean Nennstiel of Brook Park, Ohio; 1 sister, Jean Whitington of Memphis, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Charmaine Taylor, TraKina Harper and Breanna Odom; 2 great grandchildren, Kayleigh Mae Odom, Payten Lynette Odom and 8 great great grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Doris Lunette Wheatly; 1 brother Paul Davis; 1 sister Rebecca Ann Davis.
