KATHLEEN BUSBY
Henderson, TN: Kathleen Ritchie Busby age 82 passed away Sunday morning, May 22, 2016 at her home.
She was born September 8, 1933 near Talcum, Kentucky the daughter of the late Madison and Nonnie Dobson Ritchie. She went to school in Kentucky. She married D. C. Busby in 1952. They made their home in the Sweetlips Community. She worked at Chester County Sportswear, Enville Mfg. and later worked in the Deli at Miller's Big Star. Mr. Busby passed away in 1987. She loved her grandchildren. She was a Baptist in Belief.
Mrs. Busby is survived by two sons, Larry Busby and Gary Busby both of Henderson and two daughters, Sandy Morris and husband Randy of Henderson and Shirlene Lyles of Henderson; nine grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren; three sisters, Sue Ritchie and Pearl Conley both of Talcum, KY and Willa Combs of Lexington, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, D. C. Busby; a great grandchild, Melah Busby; a brother, George Ritchie and two sisters, Dale Patrick and Jacquline Ritchie.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Ricky Tedford officiating. Burial will follow in Sweetlips Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 5:00 PM on Monday.
