Services will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home, in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobby Pinckley and Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 17, 4:30--9:00 pm and on Sunday, March 18, 11:30--1:30 pm Shackelford Funeral Home , Waynesboro,TN
Mrs. Kathleen Brown Morgan departed this life on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 95 Years, 1 Month, 13 Days. She was born February 2, 1917 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Tom and Oma Elizabeth Sherrills Brown. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Eugene Morgan; brothers, Will Brown, Taylor (Goob) Brown, Fred Brown, Benton Brown and Eugene (Pete) Brown; sisters, Mary Melson, Pearl Beckham, Alta May Moore and Jewel Helton.
Mrs. Morgan was a homesmaker and store owner . She was a member of the Houston Baptist Church and the FCE Ladies group since 1971.
She is survived by a brother, John D. Brown of Savannah, TN
several nieces and nephews.
