Kathryn Harwell Smith Phillips Eldridge, age 93 years died October 21, 2020 at Woodruff Manor Nursing Home, Woodruff, S.C.
She was born in Enville, TN on October 10, 1927 daughter of Arlie Lee & Vora Cleo Bridges Harwell.
She lived in Memphis in her earlier years and worked for Smith & Nephew for nearly 20 years. She then moved to Reagan, TN. and set up an Income Tax Business & an Avon Business retiring from both in 2009. She was a member of Enville Baptist Church and served as church clerk from 2005-2010.
She was preceded in death by husbands Raymond W. Smith, Aug, 1991; Bill Phillips, April 2006 and Edward Eldridge, May 2013; a brother Max Harwell and a sister Geneva Maness.
She leaves her son Michael R. Smith (wife Tracie) of Moore, SC; a daughter Brenda G. Smith of Memphis, TN; a grandson Robert Edward Lee Smith of Grand Junction, CO and a great granddaughter Hayley Michelle Smith of Memphis.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 26 at the Enville Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Rushing and Bro. Ronnie Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the Milledgeville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson's Crook Avenue Chapel on Sunday, October 25 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
