Kathryn Ann Hickerson

Kathryn Ann Hickerson departed this life on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Lewis County Nursing Home in Hohenwald, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 10 Months, 9 Days. She was born June 20, 1948 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late Willie and Wilma Griggs Hickerson. In addition to her parents, Mrs Hickerson was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jarmey Taylor Kazen; two brothers, Richard Alan Hickerson and Boyd Hickerson, and a sister, Margaret Riley. Mrs. Kathryn was a retired store clerk.

She is survived by a daughter, Crystal L. Johnson of Johnson City, TN,
a son, James R. Kazen of Waynesboro, TN, two grandchildren, David and Jakob Mills and two great grandchildren, Tristan and Bastion Mills, a sister, Linda Hickerson of St. Claire, MI, and a brother Kenneth Hickerson of Chattanooga, TN. She will be sadly missed.

Services will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Jeff Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Forty-eight Creek Cemetery in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 1st. 1:30 pm until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
