Kathy Harrell was born on December 14, 1954, in Ravenna, Ohio, the daughter of the late Bill and Betty Serva Saffels. On May 22, 1976, she was united in marriage to Chris Harrell.
Kathy was formerly of Kenton, Ohio and moved to Savannah Tennessee in 2007, where she worked for Savannah Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center and a member of Sharon Baptist Church. Her greatest love was her husband, children and family. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, whether it was watching "The Talk" or playing a board game. She took pride in her beautifully kept yard and she loved sitting on her back deck watching her five horses. She enjoyed reading and collecting glass water pitchers and owls; and she also enjoyed listening to country music, especially Reba.
Kathy departed this life on July 14, 2013, at Hardin Medical Center, at the age of 58 years and 7 months.
She is survived by her husband, Chris of Savannah, Tennessee; two sons, Chad Harrell and his wife, Andrea, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Chase Harrell and his wife, Tiffany of Delaware, Ohio, and one daughter, Cheri Harrell of Savannah, Tennessee; four sisters, Darlene Karg and her husband, George, Billie Brooks and her husband, Roger, Nanette Mclemore and Linda Saffels, all of Mogadore, Ohio; two brothers, Mike Saffels and his wife, Jennifer, and Randy Saffels; parents-in-law, Chuck and Jean Harrell; two sisters-in-law, Laurel and her husband, Joe Waples and Gina and her husband, Sam Gynn, and brother-in-law, Tim Harrell; and a host of nieces, nephews.
