KATHY JO STEVENSwas born in Decatur, Texas on December 23, 1957.Kathy was the lead person of the grinding department for Connector Castings of Selmer, Tennessee. She was employed with her family business the Mr. P. I. G. Pit Bar-B-Que Restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee, which she eventually became the owner and the operator of the business for 20 years. Kathy became an excellent Bar-B-Que entrepreneur. Kathy enjoyed horseback riding and being a cowgirl. She enjoyed driving pickup trucks and especially riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. But, most of all Kathy loved being a Mom, which she was number one at being.On September 19, 1996 she was united in marriage to James Elbert Stevens, who survives.Kathy departed this life on June 12, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 54 years, 5 months and 20 days.Along with her husband James of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by one son, Joshua Michael Howard and his wife, Sarah of Los Angeles, California. Kathy is also survived by her parents, Bobby and Donna Savage McBroom of Counce, Tennessee and 2 sisters, Thresa Brown of Madison, Indiana and Morie Hutchens of Fort Worth, Texas. Kathy was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Ray McBroom.
