Katie Lee Robertson

Katie Lee Robertson was born April 6, 1938 in Robeson County, NC, the daughter of the late Arthur Locklear and Lela Ree Jacobs Locklear. 

Katie Locklear Delonga was united in marriage to Author W. Robertson on June 25, 1968. Mr. Robertson preceded her in death on January 8, 2011.

She was a member of the Chewalla Baptist Church since June 4, 2006. She had worked over the years at ITT in Corinth, MS, Eastview Quick Stop, Jim's Steak and Fish, and Ramer Elementary School in the Cafeteria. Katie found joy in cooking delicious meals, tending to her yard, and cherished the companionship of her beloved dog "Chip."

Mrs. Robertson departed this life on June 25, 2024 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 86 Years, 2 Months, 19 Days.

She is survived by a step-daughter, Sandra Jean Coppernoll and husband Alan; two step-grandchildren, Brandon and Joshua Coppernoll; three step-great-grandchildren: Khloe, Luca, and Keigh; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Robertson, on July 30, 1988, and a brother.
