KAYE JONES BUSBY
Henderson, TN: Jona Kaye Jones Busby age 65 passed away March 7, 2013 at her home.
She was born and reared in Chester County the daughter of the late Sam P. and Charlene Hysmith Jones. She attended Chester County Schools. She was married to Wilbur Busby in 1962. They made their home in Silas, AL and Chicago, IL before returning to Henderson in 1974. Mr. Busby died in 1980. She loved to collect shoe figurines. She was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.
Mrs. Busby is survived by a daughter, Sharlene Yopp of Henderson; two sons, John Wayne Busby and Wilburn Ray Busby both of Henderson; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two brothers, Eddie Jones of Jackson and Sammy Jones of Knoxville; two sisters, Melba Jo Johnson of Lexington and Judy Jones Cox of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilbur Busby in 1980, a son, Tommy Allen Busby in 2002 and a daughter, Sharlotte Durrance in 2010 and three brothers, Buddy Jones, Johnny Jones and Rickey Jones.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Donald Jones officiating and burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 12:00 Noon on Sunday until service time at 2:00 PM Sunday.
