Born on February 26, 1970, Kelly graced the world with her presence for fifty-six years, leaving behind an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know her.
Kelly was a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse, whose career was devoted to the care and comfort of residents in nursing homes. She epitomized selflessness in every aspect of her professional and personal life, consistently placing the needs of others before her own. Her unwavering devotion to her patients was mirrored in the genuine warmth she extended to those she loved. Kelly was truly a sweetheart, her heart embracing family and friends with tenderness and sincere affection.
A lover of music, Kelly often found solace and joy in melodies that lifted her spirit. Alongside her passions, she took great pleasure in her work, which not only provided her with purpose but connected her to a community that she held dear.
Kelly’s legacy endures through her beloved surviving family members: Daniel Lightfoot, Michael (Ashley) Lightfoot, her sons; and Sarah Lightfoot, her daughter. She was also a sister to Christine Mathis, and the daughter of Bobby Lightfoot. Among those who held her close was her lifelong companion, Steve Meyer, whose bond with Kelly was a testament to enduring love. Additionally, she was the granddaughter of Linda Porterfield.
Kelly was preceded in death by her mother, Terry Lightfoot, whose memory she carried in her heart throughout her life.
In every realm of her existence, Kelly Lightfoot exemplified grace, compassion, and unwavering love. Her presence will be deeply missed, yet her spirit remains a guiding light to her family and all who were touched by her kindness.
