Kenneth Ancile Broyles

September 10, 1955 — January 9, 2025

Savannah

Kenneth Ancile Broyles was born on September 10, 1955 in Savannah, Tennessee, the son of the late Bobby and Beatrice Vickery Broyles. A brother, Gary Nichols also preceded Ken in death.

Ken loved people and his professions, from working at Piggly Wiggly in highschool to Hardin County Skills after college and later Harbert Hills and Hardin County Nursing Homes and finally as administrator of Riverwick Assisted Living for almost 20 years. He still remembered the names of almost every elder, family member, and coworkers that he ever met.

Ken was fascinated with history, from Hardin County history to his family ancestry history. He tracked down so many dates and details and remembered them too. He could tell you almost any relatives birthday across several generations.

He was a Christian who loved God and family. He also enjoyed gardening when he could, reading, playing games, and debating politics.

Ken was married to Donna Angotti on November 24, 1989 in a ceremony performed by Bro. Mike Anderson, who will also officiate Ken's memorial service.

Ken went to be with his Lord on January 9, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 69 years, 3 months, and 30 days.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Donna Angotti Broyles of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Allison Winters of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Jonathan Broyles and his wife / Ken's "bonus daughter" Dana of Olive Hill, Tennessee; grandchildren, Layla Winters, Henry Broyles, Holly Broyles, Bree Elder, and Barbara McGee; great grandchildren, Isla Elder and Annabella Mitchell; sisters, Barbara Carson of Dixon, Missouri, Wanda Faye Parrish of Savannah, Tennessee, Teresa Franks and her husband Ronnie of Savannah, Tennessee, and Elisa Foster and her husband Tim of Jackson, Tennessee; and brother, Rickey Broyles and his wife Maia of Saulsbury, Tennessee.

Ken is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great great nieces and great great nephews that he adored and was so proud of.
