Kenneth Clark Smith was born on July 4, 1941 in Adamsville, Tennessee, the son of the late Osbin Golden and Jessie Pauline Fariss Smith.
On May 30, 1962, he was united in marriage to Wanda Earl, who survives.
In his early years, Kenneth enjoyed cattle farming. He loved to garden, read, and socialize with others. Mr. Smith retired from the Hardin County School System after working as a teacher and principal at Parris South Elementary School for 41 and a half years. He truly loved his job and all the children at Parris South, and the students loved him too. Kenneth attended Olivet Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
Kenneth Clark Smith departed this life on April 23, 2025 in Corinth, Mississippi, at the age of 83 years, 9 months, and 19 days.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wanda E. Smith of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Kenneth K. Smith of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kenneth Keaton Smith, II and Amber Nicole Russell; and great grandchildren, Ethan Fiveash, Jayda Fiveash, Jace Fiveash, and Jemma Fiveash.
