KENNETH COLN
was born in Corinth, Mississippi on October 2, 1931 the son of the late Cube and Pearl Coln.
On May 4, 1974 he was united in marriage to Martha Mae Kendrick, who survives.
Kenneth retired from Aqua Glass, where he worked as a sander and finisher. He also had worked for Johns Marville in Waukegan, Illinois. Kenneth enjoyed riding his bike and going for long walks. He loved to tell jokes and stories, especially stories about the old days. Whenever he could, Kenneth loved playing with his grandchildren.
He departed this life on September 20, 2018 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 18 days.
In addition to his wife, Martha of 44 years, he is survived by his children, Danny Coln and his wife Janet of Crump, Tennessee, Larry Coln and his wife Judy of Tupelo, Mississippi and Janet Soria and her husband Joe of Crump, Tennessee; step children, Travis Carter of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Steve Carter of Panama City, Florida, Wanda Penna of Panama City, Florida, Belinda Austin of Savannah, Tennessee and Janet Coln of Crump, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren, Chris Coln, Davie Coln, Lee Robertson, Tony Soria, Candace Woodall, Chasity Jerrolds and Shannon Thornton; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Coln of Shiloh, Tennessee and Jean Burcham of Memphis, Tennessee; three brothers, Thomas, Milton and Tedford Coln, all of Shiloh, Tennessee and one son in law, Randy Robertson.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his first wife Sarah Elora mother of Danny, Larry, Vickie, and Janet; one daughter, Vickie Lynn Robertson, one grandson, Dillan Thornton and one brother, Charles Coln.
