Kenneth Lee Hill was born August 23, 1941 to the late Tab and Hassie Surratt Hill in Bethel Springs, TN.
Kenneth graduated from Bethel Springs High School. He married the love of his life, Brenda Tull Hill on February 24, 1964. To this union was born one of the most precious blessings, their daughter - Mitzi Lynn Hill. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He was a man of faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ.
After graduation he worked for the state for a while. Then he joined the United States Army; one of his greatest honors was to serve his country. After the military, he worked for GM&O Railroad and then ICG Railroad. He served his city as Alderman, Vice Mayor, Judge, and as a Volunteer Fireman, serving as assistant chief.
He departed this life on November 22, 2025 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of almost 62 years, Brenda Hill; his precious daughter, Mitzi Lynn Hill; his sister, Martha Gibbs; brother, Jerry Hill and wife Wrenetta; sisters-in-law, Marlene Smith and Vina Mehr and husband Vern; brother-in-law, Ravon Maness; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by an infant son, Jeffrey Allen Hill; infant brother, Paul Edward Hill; parents, Tab and Hassie Hill; special nieces, Lisa Hill Coleman and Judy Smith Needham; special sister-in-law, Sarah Maness; brothers-in-law, Fay Gibbs and Harvey T. Smith; in-laws, Gorland and Graple Tull.
We would like to say a special thank you to these people who helped us with his care: Martha Gibbs, Clint Shelton, Chris and Kim Mehr, Trish Shirkey, Rhonda Barnes, and Brittney Logan.
As we celebrate the life of this special man, please remember the joy he brought to each of our lives.
