He was employed by the American Pie Factory in Memphis until he was disabled. He lived in Hardeman County most of his lifeHe is survived by a daughter, Sharon Messick and husband Jason of Troy, TN; two brothers, Jerry King of Bolivar, TN, Herbert King of Memphis, TN; two grandchildren, Jason Thomas Messick, and Sydney Messick. In addition to his parents, Mr. King was preceded in death by a sister, Sudie Mae Wiggins; four brothers, Robert King, Billy King Jr., Charles King, Manson King.
