Kenneth Oneal Mills, 80, of Pocahontas, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
The husband of Betty Lynn Mills, who survives, he was a General Superintendent for Choctaw Construction, before retiring after 30 years. He was born in Pocahontas to the late William Ester Mills and Maude Hellen Jones Mills and spent most of his adult life in Memphis before moving back to Pocahontas in 1995. Mr. Mills served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his wife, whom he married November 2, 1984, he is survived by three sons, Kenneth Dwight Mills of Richmond, VA, Benny Neal Mills of Olive Branch, MS, Terry Glenn Mills of Collierville; a daughter, Tammy Lynn Orman of Olive Branch, MS; a brother, Maurice Mills of Pocahontas; and six grandchildren, Todd, Glenn, Jonathan, and Molly Mills, and Preston and Brandon Orman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a twin brother, Yedell Mills and a brother Murray Mills.
