Mr. Kenneth Wayne "Kenny" Taylor, age 55 of Henderson, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Decatur County General Hospital in Parsons, Tennessee.
Mr. Taylor was born in Chester County on May 11, 1960 to the late Franklin Leroy and Jessie Gladys Clark Taylor, and graduated with the class of 1978 from Chester County High School. On August 3, 1985, he was united in marriage to Tammy Taylor, who survives. He worked at C & C Plumbing in Jackson for several years before opening and operating K. T. Electric for over 25 years beginning in February of 1990.
He was a member of Big Springs Methodist Church and also attended Hornsby United Methodist Church. He enjoyed many things in life, including NASCAR, fishing, and spending time with his dog "Otis" and his cat "Precious". He was a history enthusiast, with a special interest in the Civil War, and he enjoyed collecting historical artifacts.
In addition to his wife of 29 years, he is survived by his siblings, Larry Joe Taylor and wife Doris of Mercer, Jean Nails and husband Woody of Bolivar, George Taylor and wife Diane of Henderson, and Anthony Taylor and wife Judy of Henderson; numerous nieces and nephews; and his father-in-law, Ray Crouse of Henderson.
