Kent Irvin Wetherington, II departed this life on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at the age of 36 years, 8 months, and 4 days. He was born in Palm Beach, Florida on December 3, 1979, the son of Kent Irvin and Molly Sue Dixon Wetherington.
Kent was raised in Palm Beach, Florida and had lived in Hardin County, Tennessee for about two years. He had worked for Wendy's and was a pizza maker for Papa John's in Savannah, Tennessee. He loved the ocean, enjoyed watching movies and was an avid Star Wars fan. He was an exceptional person, compassionate, forgiving everything...he was everything a mother could ask for in a son.
He is survived by his mother, Molly Sue Dixon Wetherington of Pahokee, Florida; father, Kent Irvin Wetherington and wife, Julie of Okeechobee, Florida; sister, Jennifer Waters of Clewiston, Florida; brother, Clayton Wetherington of Adamsville, Tennessee; maternal grandmother, Linda McKinstry of Pahokee, Florida; paternal grandmother, Doris Wetherington of Okeechobee, Florida; nephews, Wesley Wetherington and Wyatt Wetherington of Adamsville, Tennessee; niece, Addison Wetherington of Okeechobee, Florida; and a host of loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, CR.. Wetherington and maternal grandfather, Lamar Dixon.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
