Krishnakant Kshatriya

Mr. Kshatriya died early Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County Hospital.



A native of India, Mr. Kshatriya moved to this country, initially residing in California, where he worked as an electrical engineer. Upon his retirement in 1991, he moved to Bolivar. He was the son of the late Nagindas and Jadavae Beheda Kshatriya. He married the former Hasumati Chattbar on March 12, 1955. His family owns the Bolivar Inn and built the Super 8 Motels in Bolivar, Whiteville and Booneville, MS. They also are owners of the Chevron stations in Ripley, MS.



In addition to his wife he leaves three daughters, Pratina of Jacksonville, FL; Shaila and Swati, both of San Jose, CA; two sons, Asootosh and Jyotin Kshatriya, both of Bolivar; and eleven grandchildren.
