Kristie Denmark Sparks

Kristie Denmark Sparks was born January 4, 1974 in Selmer, TN, the daughter of Jerry Wayne Sparks and Nancy Carol Lowry. She departed this life on January 7, 2024 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 50 Years, 3 Days.

Kristie was born in the middle of a ice storm in Selmer, TN, no power for 2 weeks. She attended Middleton High School and graduated in 1992. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her laughter was contagious and to know her was to love her. She was employed at Walmart for a total of 24 years. She worked most of her years in Flippin, AR and the last year in Corinth, MS. She loved her family and loved to cook for them, her cooking was amazing. 

She gave birth to baby boy in January of 2012, Tucker Randall. In December of 2022, she moved back to her home in TN. She got engaged to her love, Tom Whaley. She will be remembered by her friends and family by her smile, her kindness and her big heart.

She is survived by a son, Tucker Randall Denmark; fiancé, Tom Whaley; parents, Jerry Sparks and Nancy Lowry; a brother, Dustin Sparks and wife Alissa; a sister, Kim Burkeen and husband Tony; special cousins, Patricia Kirk and Papa Chris Shearon; nieces and nephews: Carlin Sparks, Kirby Brush (Macy), Chance Barkley, Kassy Twitty (Madison), Callie Beth Barkley; great niece and nephew, Delta Brush and Declan Brush.

Kristie was preceded in death by a special aunt and uncle, Charles and Bettye Cox; maternal grandparents, Joe and Gladys King; paternal grandparents, J W and Annie Mae Sparks.
