Kristy Lynn Barnes, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and loving daughter, passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 49. Born in Lawton, Oklahoma, on April 30, 1977, Kristy was the cherished daughter of Dorothy Louise Asberry Hall and the late James Leroy Hall.

On January 7, 2017, Kristy married the love of her life, Bart Barnes. Together, they built a life full of devotion and shared adventures. During the years Bart traveled for his work as a lineman, Kristy was right by his side, happily traveling across the country to be with him wherever his work took them.

Kristy had a vibrant personality and a passion for making life feel special. She absolutely loved to shop and decorate for every season, holiday, and special occasion. She was especially known for happily going "overboard" when it came to decorating for her grandbabies' birthdays, ensuring every celebration was unforgettable. Kristy was also a talented cook who expressed her love through food, with her famous homemade caramel pie being a family favorite that will be deeply missed. Above all else, her family was her greatest joy and the true center of her life.

Kristy was preceded in death by her father, James Leroy Hall.

Her memory and loving legacy live on through her family. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Louise Hall; her beloved husband, Bart Barnes; her daughter, Paige Carroll and husband Stephen of Savannah, TN; her son, Graham Weaver of NIXON, TN; her two cherished grandchildren, Jude and Jonesy Blakney; along with a host of extended family members, dear friends, and loved ones who will miss her warmth and infectious spirit.
