L a Meek

L a Meek was born February 17, 1950 in Selmer, TN the son of the late Lelon A. Meek and Ermie Opal Griswell Meek. He departed this life on May 6, 2021 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 2 Months, 19 Days.

Mr. Meek was a member of the Refuge church of Christ in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. He drove a truck for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with Liam, his great-grandson.

He is survived by a daughter, Christy Caldwell and husband William of Cedar Grove, TN; a son, Sam Williams and wife Tammy of Reagan, TN; his mother, Ermie Opal Griswell Meek of Selmer, TN; three sisters: Jo Doris Meek of Bethel Springs, TN, Marilyn Ann Adams and husband Stacey of Shiloh, TN, Patsy Ruth Mosier and husband Ronnie of Bethel Springs, TN; three grandchildren: William Cody Caldwell and wife Taylor of Lexington, TN, Shannon Williams of Lexington, TN, Beth Garlock and husband Michael of Lexington, TN; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
