Lantie "Joyce" Morris

was born in Savannah, Tennessee on January 14, 1944, the daughter of the late James Tommy and Ruth Ella Parrish Sharp.

On September 30, 1961, she was united in marriage to William Earl Morris, who preceded his wife in death.

Lantie had worked in the housekeeping department at Hardin Medical Center. 

She departed this life on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 80 years, 6 months, and 27 days.

Lantie is survived by her two sons, Trevor William Morris of Savannah, Tennessee and Patrick Jerome Morris and his wife Tammy of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Dusty Morris, Sarah Morris, and Chelsea Morris; great grandchild, Dexter Morris; sister, Katherine Davidson of Savannah, Tennessee; and brothers, Tommy Sharp and Donald Sharp, both of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Aliene Baugus, Lelan Sharp, and Claudette Morris; and one infant brother, David Sharp.
