Larry (Fat Cat) Baxter was born November 13, 1950 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Robert and Bonnie Harville Baxter.
He was united in marriage to Linda Springer on April 12, 1982.
Mr. Baxter worked 20 years as a First mate for Pillsbury Towing Company. After retiring from Pillsbury, he operated a paving machine for APAC Construction Company. Mr. Baxter enjoyed riding four wheelers and cooking bar-b-que in his free time, and was a Methodist in belief.
Mr. Baxter departed this life on April 3, 2011 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 4 Months, 21 Days. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Linda Baxter of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Robbie Hunt and husband Gerald of Lavinia, TN; two sons, Heath Baxter and wife Tina of Arkansas, Harry Bo Holt and wife Tracy of Savannah, TN; seven grandchildren: Lynn Ingle and wife Cindy of Ramer, TN, Mitchell Ingle of Selmer, TN, Reeanna Ingle of Lavinia, TN, Gregory Baxter Hopper of Sardis, TN, Payton, Crystan and Zachary Holt all of Savannah, TN; a sister-in-law, Carol McClain and husband Hershel of Adamsville, TN; a brother-in-law, Wesley Springer of Adamsville, TN; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Baxter was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Lee Baxter.
