LARRY BRAY
Beech Bluff, TN: William Larry Bray age 75, passed away April 14, 2022.
He was born October 17, 1946 in Jackson, TN, the son of the late William Franklin and Clara Elizabeth Holder Bray. He grew up in Henderson and attended Chester County High School.
Larry lived on the family farm his entire life in the New Friendship community. He was a lifetime member of Friendship Baptist Church.
He worked many years at Bemis Cotton Mill as an electrician and maintenance supervisor. He also worked at Borderman Print, Tool Products, and most recently Moltan.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed farming with his brother and son. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as, hunting, fishing, target shooting and working with tools and woodworking projects in his shop.
He is survived by his wife, Judy O’Dell Bray; a daughter, Lisa Bray; a son, Kirk Bray and wife Nicki; two grandchildren, Will Bray and Luke Bray all of Beech Bluff, TN; a brother, Bobby Bray and wife Linda of Beech Bluff and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, April 18th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel with Bro. Glenn Harris and Bro. Bobby Bray officiating. Burial will follow in New Friendship Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue Chapel 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM service time on Monday.
