LARRY CLAYTON
Henderson, TN: Larry Varnell Clayton age 52 passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born October 12, 1967 in Henderson, the son of the Late Rufus Pete and Gladys Sue Austin Clayton. He attended Chester County Schools. He worked in refrigeration repair his entire career. In 2009 he began his one business, Clayton Refrigeration. He married Audrey Johnson on February 3, 2013.
He enjoyed hunting, antiques, and his dogs. He would do honest work and would help people any way he could. He loved to Joke around, though he was on the quiet side.
Mr. Clayton is survived by his wife, Audrey Mae Johnson Clayton of Henderson; three sons, Cody Kerr, Justin Clayton and Larry Shane Clayton all of Henderson; three daughters, Brittany Kerr of Jackson, Courtney Kerr of Henderson and Chelsea Clayton of Jackson; two grandchildren Jayce Clayton and McKenna Bond and one on the way; a brother, Bobby Clayton of Henderson and a sister, Patsy Clayton of Huntingdon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Robert Clayton.
Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Saturday Nov.9, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Ken Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue beginning at 1 PM until 3 PM on Saturday.
